    Product Description

    Background:

Penehyclidine Hydrochloride Injection is a pharmacological intervention utilized in medical settings for its antimuscarinic properties. This medication serves as a crucial tool in managing conditions that involve excessive cholinergic activity, particularly in the respiratory and gastrointestinal systems. Administered through injection, its rapid onset and potency make it valuable in emergency situations and scenarios where swift intervention is imperative.

One of the notable applications of Penehyclidine Hydrochloride Injection is in the treatment of acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning. Organophosphorus compounds, commonly found in insecticides, can lead to cholinergic overstimulation with potentially life-threatening consequences. The injection's ability to counteract these effects by blocking muscarinic receptors provides a crucial therapeutic approach in such poisoning emergencies.

In the realm of Anesthesia Care, Penehyclidine Hydrochloride is utilized to reduce excessive salivation and respiratory secretions, offering a clear advantage in enhancing the ease of intubation and maintaining a clear airway during surgical procedures. Its quick onset and relatively long duration of action contribute to its efficacy in Anesthesia For Surgeries.

Penehyclidine Hydrochloride's mechanism of action, though similar to other antimuscarinic agents, distinguishes it through its selectivity and potency. Its specificity for muscarinic receptors and minimal impact on nicotinic receptors contribute to a favorable side effect profile. The medication's selectivity is particularly advantageous in avoiding unwanted complications associated with broader receptor blockade.

    Anesthesia Product-Penehyclidine Hydrochloride Injection:

    1. It is used to administer drugs before Anesthesia to inhibit salivary gland and airway gland secretion.

    2. Used for first aid treatment of organophosphorus poisons (pesticides) poisoning and maintenance of atropine after poisoning or cholinesterase aging.

    Dosage:

    1. before anesthesia, half an hour before surgery, adult dosage: 0.5-1mg.
    2. Treatment of organophosphorus poisons (pesticides) poisoning: choose the first dosage according to the degree of poisoning.
Mild poisoning: 1-2mg, when necessary with 500-750mg phosphodesidine chloride.
Moderate poisoning: 2 to 4mg, combined with chloroxime 750-1500mg.
Severe poisoning: 4-6mg, combined with phosphodesidine chloride 1500-2500mg.
After 45 minutes of initial administration, only 1-2mg penehyquidine hydrochloride should be used for muscarinic symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, sweating and salivation. When there are only niacin symptoms such as muscle fibrillation and myasthenia or the whole blood ChE (cholinesterase) activity is less than 50%, only 1000mg phosphodesidus chloride should be used, and phosphodesidus chloride should be used instead of phosphodesidus. The first half dose of penehyclidine hydrochloride and phosphodesidine chloride is sometimes repeated 1-2 times if the above symptoms occur. At the later stage of poisoning or after ChE aging, atropine can be maintained with 1-2mg penehyclidine hydrochloride at intervals of 8-12 hours.
